James E. Davis  (Jim”) was born in 1934 in Barberton, Ohio. Jim received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University and his Juris Doctor from the Cleveland Marshall School of Law. He is a member of the Akron and Ohio Bar Associations.

Jim served in the United States Army. He is a present Board Member of the Hermit Club. Jim is also a former Board Member of the Akron Bar and Akron Bar Foundation where he served a term as President and was a Board Member of the Summit County Historical Society.

Jim has practiced before the PUCO, ICC and the FCC.
