Steve joined the firm in 1988. He was named Partner in 1995 and has served as a Member of Management Committee of the firm since 2004. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Youngstown State University in 1982 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Akron in 1985. He is admitted to practice before all Courts in the State of Ohio, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Akron Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association.

In 2000, Steve was hired as the Director of Law for the City of Green in Summit County, Ohio and continues to serve in that position.

Steve has developed an extensive expertise in a wide range of litigation matters in the areas of commercial, business, employment, corporate and real estate litigation. He has also developed a wide range of expertise in municipal law including zoning and land use regulation, public contracting and public finance. He has handled and tried many complex litigation matters including claims involving RICO, securities fraud, employment discrimination, construction law and breach of fiduciary duty. He has also handled numerous matters for electric and natural gas utilities in Ohio, including representation of utilities before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.
