Steve joined the firm in 1988 and practices in the areas of business, real estate and personal injury litigation. He also serves as the City of Green Law Director. Steve graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in 1985 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Youngstown State University in 1982. Steve is admitted to practice in the Ohio state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is a member of the Akron Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.

Steve has tried many of the firm’s most difficult and complex cases. These cases involved claims of fraud, securities fraud, RICO violations, and breach of fiduciary duty. His successes include a $9,500,000.00 verdict (with Robert Linton) for an aircraft brake part manufacturer on contract claims; an $800,000.00 verdict for an architect on a breach of fiduciary duty claim; a $1,350,000.00 settlement for numerous property owners on fraud and misrepresentation claims against a developer and several defense verdicts for business clients in similar matters.
